8 oz whole wheat rotini pastaSauce:1/2 cup orange juice1/3 cup hoisin sauce2 tbsp soy sauce1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch1 tbsp grated gingerroot1 tbsp sesame oil1 tsp minced garlic1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes or strips2 cups broccoli florets2 cups halved medium sized mushrooms1 large red pepper, cut into strips1/2 cup frozen green peas1/3 cup green onions, coarsely chopped10 fresh basil leaves, coarsely chopped
Cook pasta and set aside
Whisk together all sauce ingredients and set aside
Cook chicken in a large wok until chicken is light browned on the outside but still pink inside. Add broccoli, mushrooms, and red pepper. Cook and stir for about 6 minutes. Add peas and onions. Cook 1 more minute. Add sauce and basil. Cook until sauce is bubbly and thick (about 1 more minute) add pasta and cook 1 more minute
