Lemon Tea Cookies

Ingredients
2 tsp lemon juice1/2 c. milk1 3/4 c flour1 tsp baking powder.25 tsp baking soda1/2 c butter3/4 c sugar 1 egg1 tsp (TBSP) lemon zestTopping- Lemon Glaze(1/2 of it will be left to use for making lemon aid)3/4 c. sugar1/4 c lemon juice1 TBSP lemon zest
Directions
Stir 2 tsp lemon juice into milk & set aside.
Stir together flour, baking powder, soda & 1/4 tsp salt.
Beat butter for 30 secs, add sugar & beat til fluffy. Add egg & lemon zest , beat well. Add dry ingredients & milk alternately, beating well after each addition. Drop from tsp 2 in apart on cookie sheet. Bake 350 F for 10-12 min. Remove at once to wire rack; brush with lemon glaze. Makes 48
