Lemon Meringue Pie filling

Ingredients
3/4 cup sugar1/3 c cornstarch1/8 tsp salt1.5 c water1/2 cup lemon juice2-3 tsp lemon zest6 egg yolks6 tbsp butter
Directions
sugar, salt, and cornstarch in saucepan. blend in water lemon juice, and lemon zest. Whisk in egg yolks. Add butter. Stir constantly and simmer over medium heat for 1 minute. Pour into pie crust. Top with meringue.

Bake pie at 325 for 20 minutes.
