Carmel Puffed Corn

Ingredients
5 oz. bag of Chester's Puffcorn - butter flavor1/2 cup margarine or butter1 cup brown sugar1/2 cup corn syrup (light or dark)1 tsp. baking soda
Directions
Put Puffcorn into a large baking pan. In saucepan, heat butter, brown sugar, corn syrup to boiling and boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add baking soda. Sitr rapidly until foamy and pour over puffcorn. Stir to coat. Bake in a 250 degree oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Spread out onto waxed paper and let cool. Store covered or in baggies. Makes 15 cups. Hint: Set 2 timers, one for 45 minutes (total cooking time) and one for 10 minutes (resetting after each stiring.)
