Ingredients
Directions
10 uncooked bratwurst 2 (12 oz) cans beer 2 cans chicken broth 2 tablespoons of minced garlic 3/4 (32 oz) jar of sauerkraut 3 tablespoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon garlic salt 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1. Bring beer, chicken broth and lemon juice to a boil in a large saucepan adding the garlic, and seasonings.
2. Once beer and broth is at a boil, reduce heat to medium heat, add bratwurst and sauerkraut and cover for 25-30 minutes. Do not cut or poke the bratwurst (this will let the juices drain out and dry the bratwurst). Bratwurst will be a greyish color.
3. For a crisper taste, sear bratwurst on stove or grill for a few minutes.
