This was delicious! I used frozen spinach and it was very good. Thank you! - 3/10/11

This was very good. I didn't have almonds and loved the pop of flavor with the lemon! - 12/16/10

Enjoyed this but did cut down spices to half & added onion. Served it over rice &, surprisingly, my husband liked it too even though he's a meat & potatoes guy. - 9/17/13

I thought this was great. Based on a comment about the spice, I reduced the curry and turmeric by half. Leftovers will be served over grilled eggplant. Next time, I might add a chopped onion while browning the meat... and this dish definitely deserves a next time. - 10/3/12

Didn't have the spices, so substituted chili powder and cumin, and yum! Didn't need the yogurt, nor side salad & riceeither - 5/10/11

I really liked this dish. I served it on basmati rice. I also added a small chopped onion and I diced the carrots instead of shredding them. I didn't use the yogurt and I forgot to put the almonds in. I'll add them to the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. - 4/11/11

It is very strongly flavoured, no surprise to me given the amounts of turmeric and curry powder in the recipe, but, even prepared for it, I thought it was too strong. However, with rice and yogurt to kind of dilute it, it is pretty good. And turmeric is extremely good for you!

This looks interesting and healthy. I like the simplicity, and will try it soon. - 3/24/11
