Apple Mallow Yam Bake

Ingredients
2 small apple(s)1/3 cup chopped pecans1/2 cup packed brown sugar1/2 tsp ground cinnamon1 pound cooked yams1/4 cup light butter2 cup Mini Marshmallows
Directions
Slice apples and toss with combined mixture of pecans, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

Alternate layers, of apples and yams, in a 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Dot the top with light butter or margarine. (I omitted the butter from my casserole. It was a little dry) Cover.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, until apples are tender.

Sprinkle marshmallows over yams and apples. Broil until browned, watching to avoid burning.
