1 cup of your favorite raw nuts (I use almonds)Filtered water for soaking5 cups filtered waterA few drops of almond or vanilla extract
Put nuts in a container filled with water and let them soak for at least 2 hours. Drain nuts and in a blender combine nuts, water and if desired the vanilla extract. Blend until creamy. Chill. Strain the milk or drink it thick.
When refrigerated, nut milk keeps for 2 days.
Makes 10 1/2 cup servings
