Karo Syrup Pecan Pie

Ingredients
1 Pie crust, bake shell1 cup karo syrup1 cup granulated sugar3 eggs, slightly beaten1 tsp. vanilla1-1/4 cup pecans chopped2 tablespoons melted margarine
Directions
Pre bake pie crust and cool
Mix all ingredients for filling, pour into cooled pie crust.
Bake 350 degree oven 55 minutes.

    This is very similar to the pie my Texas grandma made every year for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. I think that she sometimes substituted brown sugar for the white. Yum! - 11/29/11
