bulgar wheat pancake

Ingredients
1/4 cup whole wheat1/4 cup bulgur wheat1/4 cup oats1/4 cup white flour1 tsp baking soda1 tbl sugar1 tbl corn oil1/2 tsp salt1 cup butter milk
Directions
soak bulgur wheat over night in 1/2 cup water
soak oats over night in 1/2 cup water
mix: white flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, salt, baking soda in a medium sized mixing bowl. Add butter milk, egg, and corn oil. Add bulgur and oats. Mix well. Cook 1/3 cup of batter until golden on a griddle or cast iron skillet. Makes 8 pancakes. Serve with homemade simple syrup (1 cup water, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup white sugar, 1 tsp vanilla or maple flavoring, heated until disolved).
