Seviyan (Sweet Vermicelli)

Lurpak lighter, 1 tbspFine vermicelli, 40 gram(s), broken upSplenda Brown Sugar Blend, 2 tbspRaisins, 0.25 cup (not packed) Almonds, slivered, 1 tbspPistachio Nuts, slivered, 1 tbspcardamon, 3, seeds onlymilk, fat free, 1 cupsaffron strands, pinch
Break the vermicelli into small pieces (less than 1").
Heat the lurpak and fry the vermicelli until golden, stirring all the time to get an even colour.
Add the milk and saffron and bring to boil, turn heat down low, cover and simmer until vermicelli is cooked, adding hot water if more liquid is needed.
Add the splenda blend and raisins and cook uncovered until all the liquid is absorbed.
Stir in the cardamon seeds and nut slivers.
