Introduction

Healthy version, not as great as the original, usually known as kesari. Healthy version, not as great as the original, usually known as kesari.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 C semolina
    0.25 C raw sugar
    1 C fatfree soymilk
    2 tbsp low fat margarine
    20 almonds
    3 C water
    food colouring

Directions

1. Fry almonds in margarine lightly and remove
2. Lightly fry semolina in remaining margarine until light brown, stirring constantly (burns easily). Remove and set aside
3. Boil milk, adding sugar until dissolved. Add water with food colouring.
4. Add semolina and sitr constantly until thick and big bubble form.
5. Add almonds and serve hot or cold.
