Introduction
This is a great Chai recipe with its own homemade chai mix. Although the spices are ground, they give the same effect as long as the spices are fresh. I would recommend trying to find a wholesale spice store so that you do not pay to much for the spices needed. This recipe can cost in excess of $45 for the first time buy of the spices. Ingredients

1/8 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Ground Cardamon
1/4 tsp. Ground Clove
1/2 tsp. Ground Vanilla bean
1/4 tsp. Ground All Spice
1/8 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
1/8 tsp. Ground Ginger
1/8 tsp. Ground White Pepper
4 tsp. loose black tea (preferably 100% Assam)
2 cups water
1/2 cup Half and Half (or more to taste)
3 tsp. sugar in the raw (liquid works best)
Tips
This recipe is also great cold! After tea has steeped and you add the sugar, put in refrigerator for 5-10 minutes and then poor over ice then adding the half and half over that.
Directions
Bring the water to a boil and add spices.
Boil for 5 minutes.
Turn off heat and add the tea.
Steep for 3 minutes.
Add the sugar so that it dissolves into the tea.
Strain the tea in to individual glasses or in to a pitcher.
Distribute the half and half equally among the glasses and enjoy.
