Ingredients

1 litre Milk
2 tbspn Lemon Juice
8 tbspn Sugar
2 cups water
1 tspn Rosewater
Directions
- Boil one litre of milk
- Take a little of the boiled milk in a bowl of the lemon juice stir, let it curdle.
- Put this milk back in the remaining milk.
- Further boil on high until all the milk and water separates
- pour through a strainer and hang this in a muslin cloth for 30mins until all the waters drained
- Knead this cottage cheese dough for a good 5-10 mins and make 20 balls out of this. Take care that there are no cracks in them.
- Mix 2 cups water with 8 tbspn of sugar. Dissolve and keep stirring until you get mild syrup.
- On high heat, add the cottage cheese balls. Let them cook in the syrup for around 5 mins
- Lower the heat and cover the deep bottomed pan with a lid and let them cook for further 20 mins.
- Open lid and let them cook. Do not pour them in a container else they will break
- Once cooled down, stir in some rose water and serve
