Ingredients

Semolina 1.33 cups
Ghee 1/4 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Golden Seedless Raisins 1/4 cup
Almonds - slivered 1 oz
Water 5 cups (boiled)
Directions
1. Boil water and keep separate
2. Sliver almonds if whole
3. Soak raisins in hot water
4. Add ghee to large nonstick frypan or flat bottom wok and turn on medium high heat
5. When ghee has started to melt, add semolina and continue to roast on medium to high heat and stir constantly until mixture starts turning slightly brown (about 20 minutes)
6. Add sugar and continue roasting (must keep stirring frequently to avoid burning)
7. After a few minutes, add almonds and drained raisins and continue roasting
8. After several minutes, add 5 cups hot water carefully and continue stirring until mixture has thickened to a consistency of pudding.
** Key thing to keep in mind is that this dish is made on the stove top and you must keep stirring it throughout the process to avoid it from getting burned **
