Oatmeal Caramel Cookie Bars

Ingredients
Flour, white, 2 cupQuaker Oats - Quick 1 Minute - Dry, 2 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, 3/4 cupPromise, Light Margarine, tub, 1 1/2 cup spftenedNestle Butterscotch Morsels, 1 cupSmuckers Sugar Free Caramel Topping, 1 cup (11.75 oz)
Directions
Heat oven to 350. Grease 13X9 inch pan with Pam. In large bowl, combine flour (less 3 TSBP), quick oats, brown sugar, margarine with an electric mixer on low speed until crumbly. Put 1/2 of mixture aside and the other 1/2 press into bottom of pan. Bake 10 minutes. In the meantime, mix caramel topping and the 3 tbsp of flour that was set aside. After the 10minutes, Even distribute butterscotch morsels to the bottom of the pan. Drizzle the caramel sauce next. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture. Bake 18-22 minutes longer or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan or cooling rack for about 1 hour. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or until filling is set. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows. Store in tightly covered container. Makes 36 bars.

    I didn't know Smucker's have Sugar Free carmel topping and DIL works there! They sound good. I want to make them for our Class that we teach. Thanks - 2/21/10

    This recipe tastes good and makes some healthy substitutions, but its really not very healthy at all... its still over 150 cals per bar, and when you cut a 9x13 pan into 36 bars that is a really tiny portion for so many calories and carbs! Not exactly a diet treat... - 3/12/08
