Sausage, cooked 2 patties1.5 c milk 2%1/4c flour1.5 T vegetable oil salt for taste
Lightly grease a pan with cooking spray and place sausage in pan and cook until done.. When done transfer sausage to a bowl and set aside.. Use the same pan as you did to cook the sausage for the gravy the sausage drippings adds flavor.. If there is not 1T of grease from the sausage in the pan use 1.5T of vegetable oil. Heat the oil, add 1/4 c of flour and stir it into the oil and let it cook until it is light golden brown you will be able to tell when it is done because it will smell a little different.. When the flour is browned add milk slowly 1/2c at a time and stir constantly when you get the gravy thin enough place the cooked sausage in the gravy and stir.. Serves 4 1/4c servings..
