Ingredients
Directions
1.5 lbs. ground venison1 lb. bag of dried kidney beans (soaked and cooked prior to adding to chili mixture)2 cans (29 oz.) Tomato Puree1 can (6 oz.) Tomato Paste1 large onion - chopped1 green or red bell pepper - chopped 5 tbsp chili powder - more or less to tasteOPTIONAL: depending on how hot you like it!2 jalepenos - chopped1 habenero - slitted and put in whole
Heat large frying pan on med-high heat. Add a touch of olive oil and then add meat, onion and bell pepper. Cook until meat is browned throughly.
Add all items to crockpot. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Add jalepeno and habenero sparingly, so you don't make it to spicy. We like medium hot chili and this amount of peppers works for us.
Makes approximately 10 2-cup servings.
