Ingredients
Directions
1 can of Pillsbuy biscuits. a can has 10 biscuits and you need 9 for the recipe. use the 10th as you see fit.. 3 ounce's of leftover or premade taco beef.1 ounce of cheddar cheese. Some taco sauce. (note: I've used packets of taco bell mild sauce which is pretty good but if you you like some extra zing a couple of packets of Taco Bell fire sauce will make a nicly zippy dish. Or use any other taco sauce you have on hand. )
This Recipe makes 3 Taco Pockets.
This Recipe works great in both the GT Xpress RSG using the divider pan and the GT101.
Could also be duplicated in the oven.
Take 2 biscuits put them on a plate with the edges touching and using your fingers pat them thin and into the aprox shape of the bottom of your GT Xpress divided pocket.
Layer 1 ounce of Taco beef on top of this
add some taco sause to personal taste.
sprinkle 1/3 ounce of cheddar cheese next.
Then take a 3rd biscuit and pat it into a shape that is as long as the bottom half but not quite as wide and lay over the top.
repeat for other side. then repeat for 3rd one or for even more. This recipe is very easy to multiply for more people.
Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until done.
(Note: I like to preheat my leftover taco beef in the microwave as its easier to spread)
