Chicken Kabob

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cut into 1.5" chunks1tsp ground saffron1 tbsp hot water1 tbsp olive oil1 tsp kosher salt1 tsp fresh ground black pepper1 cup fresh lime juice1 large onion thinly sliced

Dissolve the saffron in the hot water. Combine half the saffron water with lime juice, onion, salt, pepper and olive oil. Stir together with fork.
Cut chicken into chunks, place in bowl and pour marinade over. Cover tightly and put in fridge for 6 hrs or up to 1 day.
Skewer and broil in oven or grill over hot coals.
