Ingredients
Frosting Ingredients1 1/2 c. confections' sugar3 tbsp reduced fat neufchatel cream cheese from a block3 tbsp light butter from a stick, softened1/2 tbsp 2% milk1 tsp vanilla extractFilling IngredientsCorn Syrup Brown Sugar1 tbsp. cinnamonVanilla ExtractDough Ingredients1 tbsp light butter from a stick1 c. 2% milk1/2 c granulated sugar1/4 c lowfat vanilla yogurt (I had only plain yogurt so I added some vanilla flavoring)1 egg1 egg white2 tsp yeast4 c. flour1 tsp ground cinnamon1/2 tsp salt
Directions
To make the frosting;
In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, cream cheese, butter, milk, and vanilla. Mix on low speed with an electric mixer for 1 minute or until combined. Increase the speed to high. Beat vigorously until smooth. Allow the frosting to set for at least 10 minutes. Place in an airtight plastic container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days. Stir well with a spoon just before use.

To make the filling;
Combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, 1tbsp cinnamon, and vanilla.

Now for the sweet bread!
In the trusty bread machine place the following;
Milk, granulated sugar, 1 tbsp butter, yogurt, egg, egg white, yeast ,flour, cinnamon, and salt. Set to dough setting. Once the machine is done doing it's magic turn the dough onto a floured work surface. Roll out to 18"x12" rectangle. Spread softened butter out on dough. Spread filling out evenly. Starting at the shorter side, roll the dough jelly-roll fashion into a tube ending seam-side down. Cut into 8 equal pieces. Place spiral-side up in a sprayed/greased 11"x7" baking dish.
Cover the dish with a warm damp kitchen towel and place in a warm spot. Let the rolls rise another 30 minutes.
Bake for 22-28 min at 350F. YOu want them very lightly browned but slightly doughy in the center.

Frost & Enjoy!

    LOVE cinnamon rolls, but don't need one the size of my head. I'm going to roll this longer and narrower and cut it into 16 pieces to keep the portion size in line. Looks great & I agree on the raisins and nuts. - 7/2/11

    These were pretty easy to make, although the lack of portion for the ingredients on the filling was difficult. I also wasn't sure how THICK to roll out the dough. With a little creativity though, I made it pretty well. Haven't tasted it yet though, it's being saved for Saturday! - 3/17/10
