Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of black beans1 egg, beaten1/4 cup of breadcrumbsonion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepperchili pepper flakes (if desired)2 T olive oil
Directions
I use dried beans and soak them, but you can use the ones in the can if you like. Mash the beans up in a bowl. Add the spices - if you want a spicier burger, feel free to add chili powder, cumin, curry or whatever else suits your palate. Add egg and bread crumbs and mix well. Shape into 4 patties.

Put a couple of tablespoons of evoo into a frying pan and when hot, fry up the patties until warm and golden brown.

Throw on a bun, add some cheese and condiments and you've got yourself a burger!
