Butternut Squash and Apple Casserole

Ingredients
1 small butternut squash (2-21/2 pounds), cubed2 tart apples, chopped1/3 a cup unpacked brown sugar2 TBS butter or margarine (hard kind)1/4 tsp. cinnamon1/4 tsp. nutmeg1 tsp salt
Directions
But squash in microwave for 5 minutes to begin cooking process. Add to dish with apples and mix together. In a seperate bowl add remaining ingredients, except margarine. Cut margarine in and crumble on top of squash and apples. Bake about 20 minutes until bubbly. ENJOY!

    I sprinkled rolled oats on top. I did not microwave squash before baking. I did not use salt.

    I baked the casserole for 50 minutes at 350 degrees in corningware and then key it sit for twenty minutes.
