Baked Sweet Onion Rings

Ingredients
1/2 c. egg substitute2/3 c. dry bread crumbs1/2 t. salt1/4 t. pepper1 sweet onion (Vidalia), sliced and separated into rings
Directions
Place egg substitute in a shallow dish. In another dish, combine the bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Dip onion rings into egg, then roll in crumb mixture.

Place on a baking sheet coated wtih cooking spray. Bake at 425 for 15-18 min. or until golden brown, turning once.

    Awesome recipe!! I used seasoned bread crumbs and left out the salt and pepper and they were delicious. So delicious that I had to make a small second batch trying the original recipe-also VERY GOOD!! I will be making these again! - 1/31/10

    These were wonderful, I just finished putting them on a cookie sheet when our neighbors invited us over for a cook out. I took over the onion rings, and everyone loved them.
