Chickpea & Mushroom Pasta

Ingredients
1tbsp olive oil1 cup canned chickpeas1 cup mushrooms1/2 cup raw onion3 cloves of garlic (optional)1 package (454 grams) of whole wheat spaghetti1 cup of crushed tomatos1tsp cumin seeds1tsp salt
Directions
makes 8- 1 cup servings

Heat olive oil in sauce pan. Throw in the onions and sautee for 3 minutes untill soft. Throw in the mushrooms, cumin, garlic, and salt and sautee for another 3 minutes. Add in the rest of the ingredients (except the pasta), and simmer on a low flame for 4 minutes. As you are doing this, place the wholw wheat spaghetti into a pot of bioling water for 8-10 minutes. When the spaghetti is cooked, drain and place in a large dish and pour the chickpea & mushroom sauce over the pasta.
