Deb's Broccoli Salad

8 cups fresh broccoli, roughly chopped1 cup red onion, chopped2/3 cup dried sweetened cranberries1/2 cup walnuts, chopped2 Tbsp. Bacon Bits4 Tbsp. Light mayonnaise1/2 c. Fat Free cottage cheese1/4 c. Fat Free half and half2 t. mustard2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar1 Tbsp. granulated sugar1 Tbsp. Splenda
Combine broccoli, onions, walnuts, cranberries and bacon bits.
In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Puree with a stick blender until smooth (our put all ingredients in a regular blender and liquify). Pour this dressing over the vegetables. Toss to coat.
Makes 4 huge servings (approx 2 cups each)
