Oatmeal Hotcakes

* Oats, 2 cup * Milk, nonfat, 1.25 cup * Cinnamon, ground, .25 tsp * Nutmeg, ground, .25 tsp * Salt, .25 tsp * Granulated Sugar, .25 cup * *Sesame Seeds, 1 tbsp * *Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 2 tbsp * Egg, fresh, 1 large
Makes eight 5" hotcakes
Whir the oats in a blender until most of them reach a flourlike consistency. Leave some in small pieces.
Combine with dry ingredients.
Add egg, milk, and oil and mix well.
Let mixture stand for at least 10 minutes before cooking to a golden brown in a hot oiled pan.
Great with butter and honey, maple syrup, or golden syrup.
Also FABULOUS with fresh sliced strawberries!!
