Chinese Broccoli (Low Carb, Low fat)

6 1/2 oz frozen broccoil spears thawed2 teaspoons vegetable oil2 1/2 green onions cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces (including greens)1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce1/4 teaspoon splenda1/4 teaspoon cornstarch2 1/2 tablespoons low sodium chicken broth (or your own)salt free seasoning and pepper to taste
Cut broccoli spears into 1 1/2 inch pieces.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet until very hot.
Add green onions and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in broccoli pieces over high heat.
Combine soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and chicken broth. Add to vegetables and continue cooking over medium heat for 5 minutes or until tender. Check for additional seasoning.
Vegetables should be crisp.
