Ingredients
225g (8oz) self raising flour100g (4oz) margarine75g (3oz) currants25g (1oz) raisins50g (2oz) caster sugar1 eggmilk to mix
Directions
Heat the oven to 200C (400F, gas 6)
Prepare 2 baking trays
Rub margarine into flour
Stir in dried fruit, currants, raisins and sugar
Mix to a stiff dough with egg and milk
Place in rough heaps on baking trays
Bake for 10-15 minutes
