To reduce the cost of no salt ketchup make your own. Search the web for the Heinz clone ketchup recipe which is basically tomato paste, vinegar, water, and spices. - 3/6/12

Loved the low sodium version of this, but lost it when it was changed. Does anyone have the original recipe? And could you copy it so I can make a hard copy? My mom is on a low sodium restricted diet and she loves this. - 8/3/17

Chaneged the recipe and started with one 28 oz can of Cento crushed tomatoes, less then $2.00 at Walmart, also no salt added, quadrupled all indredients except the sugar, even with just 1/3 cup of sugar it was too sweet, added a few dashes of low sodium worchester sauce, perfect. - 3/14/13

Tried it just now, added lemons and worsteshire, accidentally put 1/2 cup vinegar. Put it in the crock pot with boneless beef ribs. The little taset I had was yummy. - 12/6/12

I have been finding NSA Heinz at the dollar store lately. Anyway, looks like a great recipe. Look forward to trying it. - 7/22/12

I cut every thing in half, except the garlic powder and molasses, omitted the brown sugar and honey. I also added a good shake of Nu-Salt & chipolte chili. We used it on left over roast for BBQ sandwiches it was great. I might try no salt added tomatoe sauce to spend less. That ketchup is kinda hi.h& - 2/21/12

I thought it was a bit too sweet and not spicy enough. I added some cayenne pepper for kick and will decrease the brown sugar and/or honey next time. - 11/29/11
