2 pounds ground turkey (93% lean)1 tbsp olive oil1 1/2 c sliced onions1 clove minced garlic1 1/2 c Red Pepper, sliced1 1/2 c Yellow Pepper, sliced1 cup finely chopped carrot3/4 c golden raisins1/2 c white wine (dry)1/4 cup sliced pimento stuffed green olives (about 10)2 tbsps balsamic vinegar2 bay leaves1 14.5 oz can of stewed tomatoes1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 Brown Turkey, Drain
2 Add oil. Saute onion and garlic 3 min. Add peppers and carrot. Saute 3 mins. Return Turkey to pan. Stir in raisins and remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 mins. stir occasionally. Discard bay leaves.

Yummy piccadillo. Not the best I've ever had, but for homemade, it is excellent. I did change a couple of things because it was what I had. I put in more peppers than what was called for, twice as many olives, omitted the raisins and white wine, and added chicken broth. Thanks so much for sharing. - 11/1/12
