Quick & Easy One Dish Taco Pasta

Ingredients
1 lb extra lean ground beef2 cups hot water1 pkg dry taco seasoning (1.25oz)1 box macaroni & cheese, unprepared1 cup salsa1 can whole kernel sweet corn, undrained1 can black beans, rinsed and drained1/2 cup fat free sour cream
Directions
Cook ground beef in a pot on the stove until browned. Add water, taco seasoning, macaroni, dry cheese packet, salsa, corn, and beans. Mix thoroughly, cover, and cook over medium heat about 10 minutes. Stir and then cover and cook another 5 minutes or until pasta is done. Turn heat to low; add sour cream and stir in. Let sit 5 minutes before serving. This recipe makes 8.5 cups.

    This was great and simple!! I averaged my familys rating which gave it a 4 BUT they didnt cook it so they dont realize how simple it was to make. oh, and I used ground turk instead of beef. - 2/21/11

    This recipe was amazing! It was so easy to make and took very little time. I added a little more meat than it called for and used the sour cream on the side. Both my fiance and I agreed we will be adding this to our regular cookbook :) - 4/22/10
