Marinated Vegetable Salad

Ingredients
12 ounce package broccoli and cauliflower florets12 ounces grape Tomatoes1 can (15 ounces) Chick Peas4 ounces Black Olives1/4 - 1/2 cup Scallions, raw 1 large Carrot, raw, (1 cup, chopped) 1 Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced (1.5 cup) 1/2 cup Olive Oil1/3 cup red wine vinegar 2 cloves Garlic * Salt, .5 tsp * Granulated Sugar, .5 tsp * Basil, 1 tsp * Pepper, black, .25 tsp
Directions
Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl. Process oil through pepper in blender until smooth. Add to vegetables, tossing to coat. Cover and chill 5 hours. garnish with parsley if desired.
