Ingredients
Olive Oil, 1.5 1tsp Red pepper, chopped 2 Onions, chopped Garlic, chopped 1 tsp Chili powder, 2 tsp Cumin , 1 tsp Oregano, 0 .25 tsp Beans, black, 2 cans ( 14 oz. each) Dark Red Kidney Beans, 14 oz. Stewed Tomatoes, 14 oz. V8 Vegetable Juice, Low Sodium, 2 oz Water, , 1.5 cup
Directions
Saute onion , pepper and garlic til softened. Stir in seasonings and saute for a minute. Add the other ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer for 35 to 45 minutes.
Makes 5 - 1c. servings

    The recipe says it makes 5 - 1 cup servings, but it also says the number of servings is 7. Which is it? 5 or 7? Not sure.... - 10/22/11
