Creamy Chicken and Broccoli

Ingredients
1 lb. chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch cubes1 sm onion, chopped, thawed2 T. Butter1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup2/3 c. Genuine Mayonnaise1/2 c. sour cream2 T. white wine or chicken broth1/8 t. garlic powderSalt and Pepper to taste1 c. cubed cooked ham1 pkg (10 oz) broccoli florets3 bacon strips, cooked & crumbledHot cooked penne or other pasta1 c. (4 oz) shredded Swiss Cheese
Directions
Saute chicken and onion in butter until meat no longer pink. Combine next 6 ingredients and add to chicken mixture. Stir in ham, broccoli, and bacon; cover and cook until heated through. Serve over pasta; sprinkle with cheese.

    Sounds delicious, but not exactly diet friendly. It might compromise texture, but I will substitute soup, cheese, sour cream & Mayo for FF versions and probably omit the butter. The calories and fat is very high in this as is- More than half my days amounts. - 6/6/09

    What a great combination of flavors! It also goes great with rice pilaf or Ed's Cream Corn. For a twist, I added some Cajun seasoning. - 6/6/09
