    I use 1.5 cups shredded apples, 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts, 2-3 Tbsp honey, 2 Tbsp juice (or wine), 1" piece grated ginger
    Form the mixture into ball and roll in the nuts. It's a great treat. I hope this helps everyone. - 4/13/09

    This recipe could get a great rating by adding quantities used and more specific directions. I know it seems brainless to people who've always made their Passover Charoset, but it's really important for those who are making it the first time. - 4/4/07
