Slow cooker pork tacos

Ingredients
6 Cups pork shoulder2 cups chicken broth2 cloves diced garlic3 tbsp oregano3 tbsp chili powder2 tbsp cumin1 tbsp cayenne or red pepper flakes1 medium sliced onionpico de gallo (for topping):1 cup chopped tomatoes1/2 cup chopped onion2 tbsp minced cilantroJuice of 1 lime1/2 to 1 whole finely diced serrano pepper (or any type of spicy pepper)
Directions
Makes approx. 8 tacos

Put pork shoulder in slow cooker on top of onion slices. Cover with chicken broth. Season with garlic, oregano, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne/red pepper flakes. Turn slow cooker on low 7-8 hours.

To make pico de gallo: Mix diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced cilantro, diced serrano and cover with lime juice. Stir to combine.

Warm tortillas in a skillet over low heat.
*If desired: Spray very hot cast iron skilled with cooking spray, crisp pork slightly in pan about 6-7 minutes (or until a brown crust develops on one side).
