Rotel black beans and brown rice

Ingredients
1/2 large onion chopped1 can black beans drained 1 can rotel3 cups low sodium chicken broth3 cloves of garlic1 tbs chili powder or Southwest seasoning mix1 1/2 cup brown rice
Directions
Saute the onion in the olive oil, add rice and saute 3-5 minutes. Add Rotel, drained black beans, Mexican seasonings and garlic. Saute until garlic is fragrant. Add low sodium chicken broth. Place in a 350 degree oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
