I thought Lea & Perrins had barley malt extract in it, making it not gluten-free? Maybe that is only here in the UK? - 8/19/09

Lea & Perrins in the US is marked Gluten-Free on the back just above the nutrition info. No mention of malt extract.

Awesome and easy. I made pulled pork sandwiches. I used this with some pork roast I crock potted for several hours. One thing, it was a little too tangy when I only used 1/4c honey,so either cut vinegar to 1/3c, or don't skimp on honey. I just added rest of honey and it was great. - 8/1/09

I don't know brands available in other countries but we use The Wizard's brand at my house which also happens to be organic besides GF. The label here in the US is mostly purple with a wizard picture on it. - 2/7/15

I haven't seen The Wizard's brand in my area, but I have noticed that more brands of everything going GF these days. I have a BBQ place near my house that makes their own sauce. It's GF, organic, and better than mine. They said they'll be marketing it nationally soon. It's called Zachary's.
