Nana's Homemade Peach Cobbler

4-5 peaches, peeled and sliced1 Tbsp granulated sugar1 tsp brown sugar1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour1 1/2 tsp. baking powder3 Tbsp. unsalted butter3/4 cup milk3/4 cup granulated sugar
Peel and slice peaches. (They will peel very easily if placed in simmering hot water for about two minutes.) Toss with 1 Tbsp granulated sugar and 1 tsp brown sugar. Transfer into lightly greased baking dish.
Mix the remaining ingredients together and pour over peaches.
Bake in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes or until peaches are bubbling and the crust is light golden brown on top.

It was really easy to make and quite tasty! However, I changed the topping into more of a streusel type by not using the milk and instead mixing flour, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. I also used self rising flour because I didn't have regular flour on hand. I will definitely make this again! - 6/23/10
