Italian Meat Sauce

Ingredients
1 1/2 lb lean ground beef3 14 oz can of diced tomatoes1 Large Jar of Favorite Spaghetti Sauce (Ragu Tomate Basil)1 onion diced3 cloves garlic, pressed1 tbsp dried oregano1 tbsp dried basil1 tbsp dried parsley1 tsp red pepper1 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper1 cup water (add more as needed)
Directions
Brown beef, garlic and onion and drain well. Rinse if needed. Add spices and cook a few minutes to bring out flavor. Add tomatoes, sauce, and water. Gently simmer over low heat for several hours until flavors have blended. (Great in a crockpot.) You can add 1-2 tablespoons of tomato paste if not thickened. Serve over pasta or use in lasagna.

1 serving is 1 cup. Should make 12-14 cups.
