2 c all purpose flour1 c whole wheat flour3/4 tsp cream of tartar1 tbsp sugar4 tsp baking powder1 tsp salt6 tbsp margarine such as I Can't Believe It's Not Butter sticks for cooking/bakin1 cup nonfat milk
Makes 11 large biscuits (about 2")
Preheat oven to 450F
Comine dry ingredients in a large bowl
Cut in the margarine with pastry blender until it resembles coarse sand
Make a well in center and add milk all at once, stir with fork until moistened
Turn out onto lightly floured surface and knead 4-6 times
Cut with 2" or 2.5" biscuit cutter (I use a water glass about 2" across)
Bake at 450F 10-12 min
Enjoy hot with margarine and honey...
