Carol's Apple Raisin Cinnamon Oatmeal w/Brown Sugar, Two Servings

Ingredients
1 Cup, dry and uncooked, Old Fashioned Rolled Oats2 Cups water1 Medium Apple, chopped with peel on1/4 Cup Raisins, packed1/4 Cup Brown Sugar, packed1 tsp Cinnamon
Directions
In a medium pan heat water and raisins with the lid on, to soften the raisins. While raisins and water heat, wash, core, and chop the apple. Add apple, cinnamon, and oats; stir once and cook 4 mins. Spoon evenly into two bowls; add half (1/8th Cup) of the brown sugar to one of the bowls and enjoy. Cover and refrigerate the other bowl for a fast breakfast on another morning.

Makes 2 servings, 1.5 Cups each.
