YUMMO! Everyone in my family loved it. I used whole wheat penne rigate instead of macaroni. - 8/2/09

Great idea on the pasta swap out. Also, with the leftovers (I always make extra) I add whole kernel corn and put it in a baking dish and cover with foil until it is hot. Then I put low fat cheese on top and put back in the oven to melt. It is delicious.

I am so glad, I know you will enjoy it. I also have a meat loaf and a cornbread recipe that is figure friendly.

Please let me know what you think.

Very good except it has too much pasta for us. (my box was 13.25 oz). I also added a can of drained light red kidney beans and extra chili powder. We still used Tabasco at the table. - 6/12/10

This was great! I didn't have quite enough pasta, so I added some beans in addition. Thanks for the recipe! - 11/9/09

Thank you for the kind words. Also, with the leftovers (I always make extra) I add whole kernel corn and put it in a baking dish and cover with foil until it is hot. Then I put low fat cheese on top and put back in the oven to melt. It is delicious.
