Masoor Dhal

Ingredients
4 TB coconut oil6 Cloves6 Cardamoms1 inch piece of cinnamon stick1 onion, chopped1 fresh green chile, finely chopped1 garlic clove1/2 tsp garam masala1 1/3 lentils4 TB lemon juice
Directions
Heat oil in pan, add cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon and fry until they start to swell.
Add oinion and cook until translucent. Add ginger, chile, garlic and garam masala and coof for 5 minutes.
Add lentils, stir and cook for 1 minute. Bring t oboil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, until really thick and tender.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and serve immediately.
