- Number of Servings: 10
Ingredients
Directions
1 package Angel Food Cake (i used betty crocker, only need to add water)1 can tropical fruit salad with juice (15oz)1 box jello sugar free (your favorite flavor)
--Prepare the angel food cake as indicated on the box, but instead of adding the entire 1 3/4c water, measure the juice from the troical fruit salad and fill the rest with water. (make sure to beat with a hand mixer cause this fluffs up the mix!)
--Pour batter into an 11 x 15 baking dish
--Poke holes with either a fork or the end of a wooden spoon all over the cake (keep the cake in the pan)
--Allow cake to cool
--Prepare the jello as package indicates
--After adding the appropriate amounts of hot/cold water place in a blender with the drained can of fruit and blend
--Pour over the cake making sure to fill all the holes (the cake make look soggy but its ok)
--Cover and refridgerate over night
-----Garnish with Cool Whip Free and enjoy!----
(makes big portions of cake, feel free to make this into 12 servings or more)
