Crab & Corn Bisque

2 Tbsp Butter1 Tbsp chopped onion1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley1 16 oz can lump crab meat3 Tbsp all purpose flour2 c chicken broth2 c 1% milk1 can kernel cornpinch of cayennesalt to taste1/2 c milk
Melt butter in large saucepan over med-low heat.
Add onion and cook until golden.
Add crab meat and parsley and cook on low for four minutes, stirring constantly.
Add flour and cook an additional three minutes.
Stir in chicken broth and partially cover pan.
Simmer 20 minutes.
Add milk, corn, a pinch of cayenne, and salt to taste.
Heat through.
Add wine for flavor. Do not cook out.
Makes 6 one-cup servings
