0.5 pint water30g bertolli spread2.25 tbs sugar1.25 tsp salt280g strong white flour150g strong wholemeal flour12g linseeds50g wheat bran1.25 tsp dried yeast
Add ingredients in the correct order for your breadmaker.
This recipe is my own, and the loaf is very dense, but has a lovely texture and gorgeous taste. Wheat bran adds those extra nutrients which may be hard to find in your diet.
To increase nutrients, you could substitute milk for the water, and play around with quantities of flours.
Makes a loaf giving 12 small slices.
