Chicken and Shrimp Casserole

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups raw converted rice1/2 cup butter, melted2 1/2 cups chicken broth4 cups cooked chicken, cut into 1-inch pieces1/2 lb button mushrooms, sliced1/3 cup soy sauce1 lb shelled and deveined shrimp1/4 c Yellow onion
Directions
Mix rice and melted butter in the slow cooker, stir to coat the rice thoroughly.
Add all of the remaining ingredients, except the slivered almonds and green onions.
Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours or on High for 2 to 3 hours.
Sprinkle the almonds and green onions over the top before serving.
