2 cups plain low fat yogurt, 2 tbsp chick pea flour, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 inch ginger root, 2-3 curry leaves, 1/2 cup coriander leaves, 2 green chillies, salt to taste, 1 inch stick of cinnamon, 2-3 cloves, 1/2 tsp cu,im seeds, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds.
Add enough water to the yogurt to make it into a pouring consistency. Add chick pea flour to it & keep aside. Grate giner, slit a green chilli, wash and chop the coriander leaves. To the yogurt, add the ginger sugar and salt. Heat oil. To the hot oil, add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves, curry leaves, slit green chillies. When the seeds pop, add the yogurt mixture and boil for 5-8 minutes while stirring constantly. Serve with rice or have by itself as a soup.
